100,000 Acre Celebration

A good crowd gathered at the Henry Lake restoration project in Wright County on
Friday, September 21, 2007 to celebrate the enhancement, restoration, and protection
of 100,000 acres of habitat through Minnesota’s Habitat Conservation Partnership. |
Senator Satveer Chaudhary, LCCMR Member, and Senator Jim Vickerman, LCCMR Co-Chair,
speak to the crowd at the Habitat Conservation Partnership 100,000th Acre celebration
and dedication. |
Representative Ron Erhardt (LCCMR Member), Nancy Gibson (LCCMR Member), Senator
Satveer Chaudhary (LCCMR Member), Representative Dennis Ozment (Past LCMR Chair),
Mary Mueller (LCCMR Member), and Senator Jim Vickerman (LCCMR Member and co-Chair)
were all in attendance to celebrate the Habitat Conservation Partnership 100,000
acre milestone. |
Senator Jim Vickerman, LCCMR co-Chair receives a plaque from Jane Prohaska, executive
director of the Minnesota Land Trust. The plaque was presented to all LCCMR Members
and Staff to celebrate and commemorate 100,000 acres of accomplishments by the Habitat
Conservation Partnership. |
Flags were flying as the Habitat Conservation Partnership dedicated the Henry Lake
restoration to commemorate 100,000 acres accomplished. |
